Ka'ala Healing Arts has been lovingly serving the North Shore community since 2003. We are so grateful for the support and the opportunity to serve. However, with the excessive rain on the night of March 19, 2026, the center flooded when the Kaukonahua stream overflowed Otake camp, damaging the foundation of the building, the electrical system, the flooring and drywall, etc. All 5 first floor businesses have been totally destroyed, and all businesses upstairs cannot reopen until the building is safe.
For each of us at the center, practicing our healing art is our calling. Being unable to serve is not just a loss of income, it is a loss of meaning and purpose in our lives. At this time, it is uncertain when Ka'ala Healing Arts will reopen, how extensive the damage is, or how costly the repairs will be. Your donation will be used to offset lost income, repair damages, replace equipment and products that have been lost, and help cover rent.
We love our community and are so grateful for the outpouring of help we’ve received so far. Please make a donation so that Ka'ala Healing Arts can return to serving the North Shore community in its full capacity as quickly as possible. Anything you are able to offer will be helpful and used to benefit all businesses and individuals who work at Ka'ala Healing Arts. Imua!
